Editor’s review

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra at its price is the best flagship Android phone available in Nepal at this price. It offers 10x optical zoom, a built-in S Pen, 200MP camera, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and 7 years of updates — all for a little less than the S25 Ultra. The only reason to pay more for the S25 Ultra is the updated Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and minor camera refinements.

Buy if:

  • You want the best camera zoom available in Nepal (10x periscope)
  • The S Pen is part of your workflow — note-taking, sketching, remote shutter
  • 7 years of Android updates matter to you
  • You want flagship performance at a little less than the S25 Ultra

Consider alternatives if:

  • iOS ecosystem is preferred — iPhone 16 Pro for similar money
  • Budget is tighter — Samsung Galaxy A55 for mid-range needs
  • You want the latest chip — Samsung S25 Ultra (~its price) has Snapdragon 8 Elite

Better Alternatives to Consider

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (~its price): For a little more, the S25 Ultra brings Snapdragon 8 Elite (faster and more efficient), camera improvements, and the latest Galaxy AI features. Worth it if you plan to keep the phone for 5+ years.

Apple iPhone 16 Pro : If the iOS ecosystem is appealing, the 16 Pro is a little more with A18 Pro chip, Camera Control, and tight iPhone-iPad-Mac integration. Trade-off is 5x zoom instead of 10x.

Vivo X200 Pro : Offers a 200MP periscope telephoto, 6000mAh battery with 90W charging, and Dimensity 9400 — for a little more, with Zeiss optics.
