The original Pixel was Google's first in-house smartphone — notable for introducing HDR+ computational photography and the pure Android experience. In 2026 it is relevant only as a backup device or for retro Android enthusiasts. Android support ended years ago; do not use as a primary device.
No official Google distribution in Nepal. Google has no authorised distributor or service centre in Nepal, so every Pixel sold here is a grey-market import covered only by the seller’s warranty — Google will not service it locally. Ask for a written warranty card and VAT bill, and note some Google AI/Pay features can be limited in Nepal.
